Basketball

Well we have 2 tournaments down. They won the championship at the Centennial tournament and 2nd in the Coon Rapids tournament. We are all so very proud of our boys they have been playing so well together, you can really see the improvments from last year. We are not doing much except practice and tournaments. We are getting ready for the holidays so even busier than ever.

We hope you all had a very nice Thanksgiving and check back soon! Brody's next tournament is in Monticello in 2 weeks.

Sorry to those that do check our blog I haven't updated for a really long time. Anyways, with Baseball done we went right into Football. We had a lot of fun with football this year again Brody was the starting quarter back, and they won the end of the season tournament. They beat out a team that hasn't lost a game in over 5 years. We were very proud of the boys they all played very well.

Basketball is next, he has started practices and will have his first tourney at Centennial High school on November 14th to November 16th. Brian is an assistant coach this year, first time for Basketball.

Lang house update

Well all stars are done, actually finished on 7-17-08. Here are some pictures of Brody playing. they did a great job and we are all really proud of all the boys.

After all stars we went up to the lake to relax some! Brody had so much fun wake boarding and Mom and Dad had fun cruising around the lake. Even Nakita enjoyed some boating time.

After the all star season ended Brody and his teammates played in a wooden bat tournament in Plymouth. They had a lot of fun and after getting there we realized that they were playing against 12 year old all star teams. They finished 2nd in their pool, but lost the first game in bracket play. They had lots of fun!!! Our 12 year old all stars are playing the championship game today for State then they will be heading to Indianapolis for the regional tournament! If they win that they are off to Williamsport!! That is about enough of baseball next is football!!!! That should be starting the end of August! Will update soon love you all!!!!

Baseball

of course my post is about Baseball, isn't that what life is??? Just kidding, well we finally finished the regular season so hopefully it will slow down a little bit for the Lang family! The Reds won the consulation Championship so they all received a trophy, another for Brody's little collection that keeps growing and growing. We had a fabulous season and had so much we will definitely miss the 12 year olds that are moving on next year to traveling or Babe Ruth. All star tourney starts on Monday so we are excited for that, again it is in Coon Rapids at Sand Creek park he plays 7-7-08 at 6:30, 7-9-08 at 6:30, 7-11-08 at 6:30 and 7-12-08 at 9:30. We will see how they do in Pool play to get to the final rounds. Hopefully make state!!! That's all for now. Hope everyone has a fabulous 4th we are hoping to get to see some fireworks!!!! All Star Team

Well it is official Brody made the 11 year old all star team this year. We are very very excited for him. The tournament is in Coon Rapids this year so that is really nice for all of us. I will post pirtures of him when we get into the tourney!!! His regular season team is playing in the consolation bracket they are in the championship for that bracket tom night. Talk to all soon. Update

Hey all,

Just a quick update. I had my annual Girl's weekend this past weekend and it was very relaxing and fabulous. I miss all my girls already! Here is a picture of my fabulous group of friends! Sorry Bre you missed a great weekend. Natalie will be proud that you sacraficed for her!

Brody and Brian were busy at the baseball fields, Brian stuck making Cotton Candy for Little League Day, Man I am ticked I missed that I am sure it was hilarious.

Brody starts City Tournaments this friday so wish us luck!!! We will find out on Sunday if he made the 11 year old All Star team so pray for that too! Then the busy time starts. Brody last day of school was yesterday so he is excited to sleep in and play with his friends all day. Boy he has an awakening coming I have a huge to do list for him!!!! J/K Brody I love you!

Baseball

Well Brody has had 2 games, both when the weather was terrible. They lost both games. His next game is Tuesday and it should be nicer out so hopefully they will all play better, at least hit better. They look o.k. in the outfield it is the hitting that isn't going so well for them. I will post some pictures when I can actually get some o.k. ones, it is hard to take decent pictures when you are wearing hat mittens and scarf in late April and May.

Brian has been working steady hours so that is going much much better! Well I will post again soon!

Well yesterday I got some good news. I have been offered a new position within Allina. I am going to be a benefit specialist, well that is what it is now they are still trying to figure out the title. I am very excited about this opportunity and to chance to learn more about benefit design, training and dabble in some project management. Well that is about it for now. I will post some pictures next week after Open Day for Baseball.

Well it has been almost a month since my last post, nothing much going on in the Lang House. We have started baseball and the boys are very busy with that. Brian and I are almost done the the longest season ever...Bowling. This was my first year and it was really fun. We are going to do it again next year. Hopefully us girls can get our averages up to match our team name of "High Rollers" Hope that everyone is doing well. I will post pictures with my next post.

Way too long!!!

I know it has been very very long since I posted but we have been busy at the Lang House. Brody had his finale State Tournament for Basketball last weekend. The lost some very tough games but we are still very proud of the boys. They improve so much since the season started they didn't even look like the same team playing. Nothing much going on with Brian or I just working and getting Brody to his practices and games. In just 4 days Brody will try out for majors for baseball, We are hoping he makes it onto a team. Well we have a little inside scoop since Dad was choosen to be a majors coach this year!!!! YEAH they are both very excited for the baseball season to start. Opening day is on 4-26 I believe so just one short month and the running starts all over!!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful easter we love you all!!!!!

The Langs

Well we finished another tournament. This was the Tartan classic and Brody's team came in 2nd place. The boys played very good games and all three were very very close. Not much else going on in the Lang house. Our nephew Parker turned 4 yesterday. Boy does time go by fast!!!! I remember when he was just an infant! We love you Parker and hope you had a great day!

Hi all, it has been awhile since I last posted. We are all doing great. We had a wonderful christmas. Brody had asked for Rock Star for PS3 and guess what he got it!!!! He also got a digital camera, a couple of remote control cars, some other video games, clothes, money, a new catchers mitt and lots of other stuff. I would say that he had quite the christmas. We then went to our friends lake for the weekend before New Year, I had to work on the 31st so we came home on sunday. Brody was able to spend the new year with his friend RJ which he enjoyed alot. He rode snowmobile and even shot a shot gun.... Thanks Eric!!!! Brody has expressed interest in hunting so we are glad that we have many friends and my dad that hunt so they can teach him and take him with them. Brian isn't a hunter so he can't do that. We have had a vacation from Basketball but that will start back up next week!!! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!!!
